Keane Announces New Album: Infinite Rain for 2018

Today, Tim-Rice Oxley, from the british band Keane, announced that the band will come back to release a new studio album influenced by electro-house artists such as Skrillex: ‘Infinite Rain’, in 2018, after Tom Chaplin, lead singer, finishes with his Carried By The Wave Tour.

Rice Oxley also announced some of the songs’ names:

Everybody’s Changing (Remix) ft. Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz

Past Illusions ft. K’NAAN, Lady Gaga

Another Perfection

Infinite Rain

 

After the album releases, it was also announced that Jim Parsons, actor in shows such as ‘The Big Bang Theory’, will take control of Tim Rice-Oxley and Jesse Quin’s side band ‘Mount Desolation’.

Dominic Scott, on a separate note, announced that he will be exiting ‘Roundstone’ to return to the band 17 years later, but this time joining Tim-Rice Oxley as a DJ.

Keane has already shipped 70 million CDs for their first year, planning to beat Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ album in terms of sales.
